johnson-hermes · Hermes assistant

An AI assistant with Google Workspace tools, operated by Johnson Mok.

Effective and last updated: 1 November 2026

What this application does

johnson-hermes is the name of this privately operated application's Google OAuth registration. This deployment combines the Open WebUI chat interface with a Hermes agent to help authorised users work with documents, email and calendars. It is operated by Johnson Mok; it is not operated or endorsed by Google, the Open WebUI project or Nous Research.

Users can ask the assistant to find and summarise Drive files, draft or update Docs, analyse and update Sheets, prepare Slides, search or draft Gmail messages, and read or manage Calendar events. Writes, sends, sharing and deletion require a user's task instruction. Access is for the operator and invited users, rather than open public registration.

Connecting a Google account

Google authorisation is optional. You choose the account and approve access on Google's consent screen. The application stores an account-specific refresh token so authorised tasks can continue without a new sign-in every time. You can revoke access at any time. Each request selects a specific connected account; connecting an additional account does not combine its credentials with another account.

Google permissions and their purpose

Authorised automations may run while you are offline. Granting a scope enables a capability; it is not an instruction to perform every action that scope permits.
